Update on Invited Speaker Who Proposed Controversial Anti-DEI Legislation

A brawl ensued

Nurse knocked out

Swinging bloody extremity

Intimidate me while waiting

Patients throw printers

A nearly endless barrage of abuse

Punched while checking vital signs

Attacking staff while boarding

They wrote down our license plates

Broken bones and bleeding

"Too many to count"

Sick and coughing on staff

There was no help

Attacked with machete

Hit by wet floor sign

Undoubtedly part of burnout

"I will burn this hospital to the ground"

Threw a wheelchair at me

Pregnant and attacked

Attack led to brain damage

Treated for broken rib

"This is supposed to be a felony "

"Come to the ED and shoot everyone"

Death threats while trying to help

Nothing came of the police reports

Nunchucks, knives and guns

Tried to stab me with syringe

Headbutt knocked them out cold

Death threats against my family

BIt off large mouthful of flesh

Threatened with harm, lawsuits

Car vandalized, nurse choked

Heavy medical equipment thrown

Bitten so hard she needed surgery

Patient with a knife

Locked in a room for safety

Patient area with no security

My employer did nothing

Medical team steps in to help security

Security doesn't want to get involved

Our safety is in our own hands

They came looking for me with a hatchet

Tried to skewer me with IV pole

We could not get to the patient

Gun in waiting room

"I'll shoot everyone here"

Punched for bringing them apple juice

Injured during routine triage

Spit and bit

Assault almost every day

Too many boarding

Had security in a choke hold
