To apply for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit, you must meet the following criteria:
- Your organization must not be considered an ineligible company as defined by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)?
- The activity must meet the definition of CME.
- You must agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth by ACEP, the American Medical Association (AMA) and the ACCME’s Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education.
To begin the application process, applications must be submitted via ACEP's Online Application System. The online application system requires all applicants (contacts) to log in using their acep.org web account. If you do not already have an ACEP Web account, please create one here.

For first time access to this system, but submitted applications previously
- go to https://acep.accreditor.com/
- click on “Forgot Password?”
- type in your email address and click on “Reset Password”
- Check your email for a reset password link.
- When you receive the email, click on the link to reset your password.
For new account creation
- click on “Create Account”
- select “User” role and submit the form.
- You will then be able to log in with the username and password you created.
