ACEP has developed comprehensive FAQs to help you navigate the AMA CPT 2023 Documentation Guidelines changes. The ACEP Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee (CNAC) has thoroughly researched the once-in-a-generation change to the documentation guidelines that determine Evaluation and Management (E/M) code levels of service.
