Dr. Niki Thran, a born and raised New Yorker who has managed to get lost and found in more states than she can count. She was educated in Massachusetts and Tennessee.
When not busy trying to change the world, she works per diem. Dr. Thran has three children: Mandi, who lives in Sydney, Australia with her fiancé Jono; TJ and his partner Emma; and Bailey.
Aside from fighting climate change and advocating for a more equitable world, she's also a staunch supporter of a woman's right to choose and bodily autonomy.
About This Award
The Council Teamwork Award is presented to a component body or group of councillors to recognize outstanding contributions and participation in Council activities. The award is given as needed, not necessarily annually.
