We could not get to the patient

As my 20 year-old patient started having a seizure, their dad bursts out of the room screaming for help. A nurse and I were right there and responded immediately. But, we could not get to the patient because the dad was screaming at us and threatening to get his gun. We were so scared that we couldn’t get to the patient to stabilize him.
