A Big Win and Strong Step Toward Banning Non-Compete Agreements

ACEP strongly applauds the Pennsylvania court decision clearing a way for the FTC ban on non-competes to go forward. ACEP fights for you - impacting these decisions from the start – by sharing your stories and fiercely defending your rights on the job.

Together, our influence and your voice can move the needle. ACEP makes a difference:

  • Armed with your powerful stories, ACEP shared the harmful impact of these predatory clauses. We have been working with the FTC the whole way through.
  • ACEP is facilitating conversations so FTC leaders and other government officials hear directly from you.
  • ACEP has emergency physicians’ only dedicated, full-time office in Washington, DC to elevate your concerns to the highest levels.
  • Most recently, ACEP was the only organization representing emergency medicine at a roundtable on the benefits of eliminating non-competes with Sens. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), FTC Chair Khan, and other legislators, business owners and worker advocates.

We are the national unified voice of the individual emergency physician, and we are fighting for you!
