Multi-modal pain management techniques including ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia are being increasingly utilized outside of the operating room environment. This one-day interactive course is designed for individuals who wish to learn and gain confidence in performing the highest yield nerve blocks for the ED through a combination of didactic lectures and hands-on training. Participants will practice fundamental skills to safely and confidently utilize ultrasound guided regional anesthesia. Topics will include blocks for both pain control and procedural anesthesia.

Audience: Individuals finding this course content valuable may include but are not limited to emergency medicine, anesthesia, surgical specialties, internal medicine, family medicine, critical care physicians, hospitalists and advanced practice providers working in acute and procedural care areas.
