The ACEP Educational Meetings Committee is looking for enthusiastic and responsible medical students to volunteer at ACEP25.

There are three different volunteer opportunities:
Education/Section Meeting
- Be available for a one-hour training session on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Be available September 6 – September 10 to attend the entire ACEP25. You will be assigned specific duties during certain times, but will be free to attend the rest of the conference
- Attend assigned didactic sessions
- Share educational pearls from didactic sessions on your personal social media channels
- Facilitate transitions between lectures
- Assist in AV needs
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the Education Committee
- Take notes at assigned Section of Membership meetings
Social Media
- Optional one-hour training session on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Be available September 6 – September 10 to attend the entire ACEP25
- Share your social media handles with staff who will amplify them to attendees
- Share what you are learning, who you are meeting, the after-courses fun … the whole experience from the perspective of a medical student
- Post multiple times a day
- Promote the ACEP25 conference on your social channels in advance
- Use the #ACEP25 hashtag
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the ACEP Social Media Ambassador team
Research Forum
- Be available for a one-hour training session on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Be available September 6 – September 9 to attend the Research Forum sessions. You will be assigned specific duties during set times, but will have time to attend the conference
- Attend assigned sessions
- Share pearls from the presentations on your personal social media channels
- Assist presenters, panelists and moderators during the abstract presentations
- Assist in AV needs
- Be responsive and flexible to the needs of the Research Forum presenters
How to Apply
Applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, pending eligibility. Medical students at any level of training can apply. You will be required to send in a letter of good standing from your school registrar or Dean’s office. Applications due June 16, 2025.
Notification
You will receive an email from ACEP staff with the next steps/details/schedule in July 2025.
