How The Lucky Chance Challenge Works

• Choose the prize that looks awesome to complete your ACEP24 experience in Las Vegas. Then register for the conference during that week and you will be entered into the drawing to win that prize.
  
  For example: You really want to see the Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil show, so you register for ACEP24 on Aug. 12. You now have one entry into the Week Two Prize drawing.

• After you register, you will get a special code to share with your friends - spread the word! When they register using your code, you will get more entires into the prize for the week they register.
  
  For example: You share your code with three friends you hope will go with you to see the Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil show. Two of them register on Aug. 15. You now have three total entries into the Week Two Prize drawing (one from your own registration and two from the friends who registered during the Week Two prize window).

• At the end of the four weeks, all of those who have registered for ACEP24 by Sept. 1 (including those who registered before the Lucky Chance Challenge) will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing. Additional entries will also be incldued any time your code was used throughout the Sweepstakes.
  
  For example: Your third friend wanted to try to win the dining credit prize of Week Three, so she registered on Aug. 20. You now have four total entries in the Grand Prize drawing on Sept. 2.

2024 ACEP SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND ONLY TO QUALIFIED PERSON (AS DEFINED IN THE RULES BELOW). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

GRAND PRIZE. Grand Prize winners shall be eligible to receive one (1) registration for ACEP Scientific Assembly 2025 valued at $1,035. Weekly prizes are as follows: Week 1 Registrations August 5-11 at 11:59 CDT, drawing on August 12, 2024, 2 tickets to the Sphere Experience with Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth on 10/1/24 at 9:30 pm ($350 value); Week 2, Registrations August 12-18 at 11:59 CDT, drawing on August 13, 2 tickets to Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil on 9/30/24 at 9:30 pm; Week 3, Registrations August 19-25 at 11:59 CDT, drawing on August 26, 2024, $350 Dining Credit at Mandalay Bay Restaurants; Week 4, Registrations August 26-September 1 at 11:59 CDT ($350 value), drawing on September 2, 2024, 2 tickets to Blue Man Group VIP Experience on 9/30/24 at 8:00 pm ($389 value). By entry and for eligibility to receive and prize and/or award related to Survey Sweepstakes, Participant must agree to the Terms and Conditions contained herein.

HOW TO ENTER. (MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE.) Those who register for ACEP Scientific Assembly 2024 during the specified deadline will automatically be entered into the weekly sweepstakes and eligible for the grand prize. To enter without registering, please send your name, address, phone number, and email address to: ACEP SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLY SWEEPSTAKES, 4950 W. Royal Lane, Irving, TX 75063. One (1) entry shall be allowed per person. All mail-in entries must be received by the time of each weekly registration deadline to be eligible. The American College of Emergency Physicians (including its related or affiliated organizations) shall assume no liability for entries that are not received by the deadline.

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY. No purchase necessary. The sweepstakes is open to individuals who are residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older. ACEP membership is not required for entry in the 2024 ACEP SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLY SWEEPSTAKES, nor will it increase any individual’s chance of winning. Employees of ACEP, its Boards of Directors, and members of each of their respective families are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing. Grand Prizes must be claimed by October 2, 2024, or as otherwise directed by ACEP.

ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZES. All federal, state, and local taxes, laws and regulations apply, and the winner shall bear sole responsibility for paying any gift/prize or other applicable taxes in connection with the receipt of any value in relation to the ACEP Survey Sweepstakes. For the names of the winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Winner Notification, 2024 ACEP SCIENTIFIC ASSEMBLY SWEEPSTAKES, 4950 W Royal Lane, Irving, TX 75063.

NO TRANSFER; TAXES; NON-USE. Prizes may not be transferred, and no cash redemptions or substitution of any Prize will be made; provided, however, ACEP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a Prize in whole or in part with one of comparable or greater value if a featured Prize becomes unavailable. Drawing Sinners are solely responsible for any taxes on their Prize(s). As required by law, Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the fair market value of all Prizes a Drawing Winner receives, and a Potential Prize Winner may be required to provide a tax identification number or social security number as part of the Prize Winner verification process. Once a Prize is claimed, ACEP is not responsible for winner’s use or non-use of a Prize. Prizes are also subject to any terms and conditions of use as may be indicated thereon.

WINNER SELECTION AND VERIFICATION. Weekly winners will be notified on the date of each drawing and will be notified by telephone or email. The Grand Prize winner will be selected on September 2, 2024, and will be notified by telephone or email. If a selected (and otherwise eligible) winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been made an alternate winner may be selected. Non-compliance of these terms shall be considered grounds for ineligibility. No substitution of prizes or cash equivalents shall be permitted. ACEP shall have the right to make prize substitutions at its sole discretion.

RELEASE AND WAIVER. By entry or for consideration as a winner in the ACEP Sweepstakes Drawing, the Participant understands that participation is entirely voluntary and requires participants to abide by applicable rules and standards of conduct. Participant hereby releases and forever discharges and holds harmless ACEP and all employees, along with their affiliated companies, successors, agents and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, that may result from or in connection with the ACEP Survey Sweepstakes, even if such liability or claim shall have been caused negligence of ACEP, excluding ACEP’s gross negligence and intentional misconduct. 

MEDIA RELEASE. Participant hereby grants all rights, titles, and interests to ACEP for any photographic images, or audio/video or information submitted to ACEP in connection with the Sweepstakes Drawing. Participant hereby grants to ACEP a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license in any and all information submitted, photographic images and/or video or audio recordings that may capture Participants identifying information, face, sound, or likeness by ACEP (or its authorized contractors) during the Participant’s activities with ACEP.  ACEP may use these recordings in media channels, marketing activities or otherwise at the discretion of ACEP.
