Podcasts can be supported through educational grants or through direct sponsorship. Direct sponsorship allows the supporter to directly partner with ACEP in producing the podcast episode including input on guest selection, topics, and interview questions in advance of the recording (subject to ACEP review committee approval).

Average timeframe from start of production to distribution is four to six weeks, but the calendar to record fills up fast.

Podcasts are promoted in ACEP’s national e-newsletters, reaching an audience of 40,000 emergency medicine physicians each week, as well as through social media. Companies can also directly promote the podcast episode and point to it as an ACEP resource.
