Newsletter Editor’s Welcome

Welcome to the fall 2019 edition of our newsletter. We have a lot of great articles in this edition. They highlight the importance of counseling parent’s on safe storage of medications to prevent pediatric ingestions as well as a case showing the respiratory distress syndrome that has been occurring from vaping.

We are also looking forward to seeing you all at the ACEP annual meeting. Our Toxicology Section meeting will be held Monday, October 28, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Hyatt Regency, Centennial Ballroom B. We always love hearing from our members and have an outstanding agenda planned.

In between meetings and newsletter articles, we also would love to hear from you on the EngagED platform, which is a great way to have a discussion between members.
