In Memoriam

James Roberts, MD passed away at 9:21pm on July 22rd, 2022.  

Jim was a gifted clinician, masterful teacher, brilliant writer and editor, expert emergency physician and toxicologist and mentor to generations of physicians. He was also my friend and colleague in the Philadelphia Emergency Medicine and Poison Center community. 

Everyone has a favorite story about Jim Roberts, going back decades. Jim's death is an incalculable loss to the profession. We are all better people for having known him and for having had the privilege of his wisdom and company.

The ACEP Toxicology Section extends our heartfelt sympathy to Jim's family and friends.
