Please join us for the annual Toxicology Section meeting to be held as part of ACEP23 in Philadelphia, PA, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 1:30pm – 3:30pm in the Grand Ball Room of the Convention Center.

Dr. Robert Bassett, Associate Medical Director, The Poison Control Center, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA will be presenting “Under Pressure: Deciding on Vasopressors vs Insulin for CCB Poisoning.” We will also be having elections for the Chair-Elect, Secretary/Newsletter Editor, and Alternate Councillor. Hello, everyone, and welcome to the ACEP Toxicology Newsroom. I'm Dr. de la Cruz, your Newsroom Editor and Secretary. I wanted to invite you all to our upcoming ACEP Toxicology Section Meeting that will be happening on Wednesday, October 11 from 1:30 to 3:30 P.M., in the Grand Ballroom Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during this year's ACEP Conference.

This year, we'll be having Dr. Robert Bassett as our guest speaker. He is the Associate Medical Director at the Poison Control Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is near and dear to my heart because that's where I did my training as well.
