Jessica L. Smith, MD, FACEP

Dr. Smith is a Professor and Clinician Educator in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital & The Miriam Hospital in Providence. She is a Designated Institutional Official and Associate Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Smith serves as President of the Council of Residency Directors (CORD-EM) and is a Councillor for the American College of Emergency Physicians Rhode Island Chapter. Her awards include the Dr. Jessica L. Smith EM Resident Hero Award, the Libby Nestor Outstanding Mentor Award, the CORD Distinguished Educator Award, the Jacek Franaszek Exemplary Educator Award and the Rhode Island ACEP Award for Educational Innovation.
