David Yamane, MD

David Yamane, MD, has served as a section editor for PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs since 2021. He is currently an assistant professor in the department of emergency medicine and the department of anesthesia and critical care medicine at George Washington University. Dr. Yamane earned his doctor of medicine degree from John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Yamane completed his residency at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and he completed a critical care fellowship at George Washington University. Dr. Yamane has a particular interest in critical care medicine.
