Jessica Eygnor, DO, has served as a section editor for PEERprep for Physicians and PEERprep for Programs since 2021. She is currently an assistant professor and a values-based patient-centered care domain lead for the MS3 and MS4 students at the University of Florida Morsani College of Medicine, a clinical assistant professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a clinical faculty member in the department of emergency and hospital medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Dr. Eygnor earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech, and she completed emergency medicine residency and a palliative medicine fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
In addition to PEER, Dr. Eygnor has authored publications in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine, the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, and Clinical Toxicology; she was also a faculty contributor for the EMRA and ACMT Medical Toxicology Guide. Dr. Eygnor’s primary interests are education, values-based patient-centered care, physician wellness, and the effective implementation of palliative medical skill sets in the emergency department.
