PEERprep Launches Urgent Care Quizzes

Both PEERprep for Programs and PEERprep for Physicians now include curated urgent care quizzes! These quizzes expand on the Foundations of EM curriculum included in PEERprep, which already aligns with Foundations 1, 2, and 3.

The NEW Foundations of EM Urgent Care course covers common presentations that sometimes have hidden, underlying, higher-acuity causes that must be identified and properly managed. The urgent care course is divided into 14 topics — ankle sprain, cellulitis, concussion, conjunctivitis, dental pain, dental trauma, headache, influenza, low back pain, otitis media, rash, sore throat, upper respiratory infection, and urinary tract infection.

PEER’s Editors-in-Chief have carefully selected 5 to 20 high-impact questions for each topic, and each question has undergone a thorough review by multiple practicing emergency physicians to ensure residents learn the key takeaways. These quizzes come complete with detailed feedback and PEER Pearl infographics to help residents assess their knowledge.

Program directors can also assign all curated Foundations of EM quizzes from the Assignments widget inside PEERprep for Programs. Just choose the appropriate quiz title from the drop-down menu and add all the preselected questions to the assignment.
