PEERprep Launches Orthopedics Quizzes

PEERprep for Programs and PEERprep for Physicians now also include curated orthopedics quizzes! These quizzes continue to expand on the Foundations of EM curriculum included in PEERprep, which already aligns with Foundations 1, 2, and 3, plus Urgent Care.

The NEW Foundations of EM Orthopedics course is designed to reinforce fundamental principles of orthopedics for emergency medicine residents. In addition to case studies on common orthopedic presentations, this course also tests learners on identifying different types of fractures; applying various splinting and fracture management techniques; and performing physical examination maneuvers specific to the hips, spine, and upper and lower extremities.

PEER has curated 20-question quizzes on each orthopedic topic in the Foundation of EM Orthopedics curriculum. All 100 questions were handpicked by PEER’s Editor-in-Chief and have undergone a thorough review by multiple practicing emergency physicians to maximize learning outcomes. All PEER quizzes include detailed question feedback and PEER Pearl infographics to help residents assess their knowledge.

Program directors can also assign these Foundations of EM quizzes from the Assignments widget inside PEERprep for Programs. Just choose the appropriate quiz title from the drop-down menu and add all the preselected questions to the assignment.
