Michael Granovsky
MD, FACEP
Dr. Granovsky is the President and co-founder of LogixHealth, a national health care revenue cycle and data analytics firm processing more than 13,000,000 annual health care encounters.
Following completion of his residency, Dr. Granovsky went on to found Greater Washington Emergency Physicians, serving as the Chief Financial Officer. With an eye toward growth, the practice tripled in size and ultimately realized a successful capital event.
Dr. Granovsky has attained formal medical coding certifications, including a CPC and CEDC, and currently leads the Technical Expert Panel that designed and provides ongoing oversight of the ED subspecialty coding certification exam.
For well over 20 years, Dr. Granovsky has served as the Director of ACEP's Reimbursement course. He is the past Chair of ACEP’s Reimbursement Committee, as well as the reimbursement subject matter expert to multiple national task forces including Telemedicine, MIPS Value Pathways, quality measure development, episodes of care, Quality Clinical Data Registry development, and Alternative Payment Models.
Dr. Granovsky serves as editor for both ED Coding Alert and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) CEDC Certification Exam.
A nationally recognized expert, Dr. Granovsky has been honored with numerous awards including Emergency Physician Speaker of The Year and several Lifetime Achievement and Educational Awards.
