Kevin Klauer

DO, EJD, FACEP

Dr. Klauer serves as CMO, Hospital Based Services, Chief Risk Officer, and Executive Director of the Patient Safety Organization for TeamHealth. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He serves as the Medical Editor-in-Chief for ACEP Now. He is the Co-Author of three risk management books. He served as the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Council Speaker and currently serves on ACEP’s Board of Directors. In 2014, he received the ACEP Honorable Mention Outstanding Speaker of the Year Award and was recognized by the Ohio Chapter of ACEP with the Bill Hall Award for service. In 2016, he was honored with the ACEP Outstanding Speaker of the Year Award, as well as EMRA’s highest honor, the Joseph F. Waeckerle award. Dr. Klauer earned his Executive JD, with honors, from Concord Law School in 2011.
