Ambassador Mentorship Program (AMP)
The ACEP Ambassador Mentorship Program Matches EMRA medical students interested in global health and emergency medicine with an ACEP Ambassador mentor for 1 year, during which the student participates and helps prepare monthly journal clubs, attends the ACEP Ambassador Conference, and works on a small global health project, which ranges from a literature review on a global health topic, to helping the Ambassadors complete their country reports, or helping with the Ambassadors’ own global health projects. There were 8 mentee-mentor pairs in the first year of the program, 2018-2019. The second class of 13 mentees will be starting in October 2019, during the ACEP International Ambassador Conference.
