Frederick Wu

Mr. Wu is a physician assistant (PA) who practices emergency medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) - Fresno. He is the founding and current program director of the Emergency Medicine PA Residency. Prior to entering academic emergency medicine, Mr. Wu practiced community emergency medicine for 12 years, serving as an emergency department Lead PA for 10 years. Mr. Wu has published, conducted research, and lectured on a state and national level, including ACEP's Scientific Assembly. In addition, he also serves on multiple national committees related to emergency medicine, education, and PA practice. His clinical interests include EMS, wilderness medicine, medical education, and emergency department operations.
