Dr. Strauss practices administratively at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is TeamHealth’s Chief Med. Training Officer and a) coordinates professional-leadership development, b) manages online and live education programs, c) develops engagement initiatives, d) oversees all CME programs, and e) is executive sponsor of wellness programs. Among his organized medicine leadership positions, he is a past chair of the ACGME RRC-EM, a senior ABEM director, and Director of ACEP’s ED Directors Acad. He is a chief editor of Strauss and Mayer’s ED Management. Dr. Strauss has been honored with several ACEP awards, including the “James D. Mills Outstanding Contribution to EM,” “ACEP’s Outstanding Speaker Award,” “Hero of Emergency Medicine,” and “Outstanding Contribution to Education in Emergency Medicine.”
