ACEP’s EMDI on the Road - Where’s Waldo
Finding one’s car keys when trying to leave can seem like an onerous task pressed by the time crunch to leave the house on time. Few tasks compile the complexity and test our sanity as finding keys, but fewer provide the unique challenge of finding Waldo as he sets out on a world-wide hike. The red and white striped shirt accompanied by the matching beanie can be easy for some and difficult for others to locate on the meticulously and elaborate illustrations created by Martin Handford. We know Waldo is there, but where exactly is he? If you are like me, you begin with a simple scan and when unable to quickly find our adventurous hero, you segment the pages scouring every detail until he is finally found.
Similarly emergency medicine conferences can feel like finding Waldo, but Waldo in this sense can be colleagues and friends. The number of conferences can be overwhelming and how do you decide which ones to attend. Thankfully, we do not have to rely on elaborate illustrations and in fact, we want to provide you with a series of conferences where you can easily find ACEP’s EMDI. Though we are not taking a worldwide hike, we will be present at several conferences to meet with the front-line leaders in emergency medicine, you. Below are some of the conferences where EMDI will be present and ready to talk, collaborate, and engage in meaningful discussions to better support ACEP members and emergency medicine.
