Todd B. Taylor, MD, FACEP
Dr. Taylor is an emergency physician with experience in health care IT, ED crowding & ambulance diversion, EMTALA, legislative and regulatory advocacy, health care policy, managed care issues, emergency medicine practice management, coding and billing, and many other issues facing emergency medicine & health care. Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed an emergency medicine residency at Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. After leaving clinical practice, Dr. Taylor joined Microsoft as a Physician Executive and Clinical Informaticist, where he helped develop and market a variety of health care related software. Since that time, he continues to pursue his passion as an independent consultant focusing on health care IT, practice management and regulatory affairs. He currently serves as Chief Vision Officer for ACEP’s Emergency Medicine Data Institute.
