L. Anthony Cirillo, MD, FACEP

Dr. Cirillo is Director of Government Affairs, US Acute Care Solutions. He works clinically in the emergency department at AdventHealth Dade City Hospital in Florida. He is a past Chair of ACEP’s Federal Government Affairs, State Legislative and Regulatory and Membership Committees. Dr. Cirillo has also served on multiple ACEP Task Forces including the Residency Engagement, Single Payer and Alternative Payment Method task forces. Dr. Cirillo also currently serves as the Chair of the Emergency Medicine Policy Institute (EMPI) Board of Governors and previously served on the National Emergency Medicine PAC (NEMPAC) Board of Trustees. Dr. Cirillo is the 2018 recipient of ACEP's Collin C. Rorrie, Jr. Health Policy Award. Dr. Cirillo is a strong supporter of emergency physician advocacy in health policy and serves as a mentor in the EMRA/ACEP Mentorship Program. He currently serves as the Chair of the ACEP Board of Directors.
