Committee Goals & Meeting Times

The ACEP-YPS Communications Committee is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for YPS. The committee will focus on leveraging social media, digital platforms, and innovative communication tools to engage young physicians, amplify YPS initiatives, and promote the value of YPS membership.
This committee will meet quarterly and be composed of a Chair, Chair-Elect, and At-Large Members.

The ACEP-YPS Advocacy Committee is responsible for identifying and addressing policy issues that impact early-career emergency physicians. The committee will develop advocacy strategies, engage with policymakers, and empower YPS members to become effective advocates for emergency medicine.
This committee will meet quarterly and be composed of a Chair, Chair-Elect, and At-Large Members.

The ACEP-YPS Membership Committee is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase YPS membership, improve member engagement, and enhance member retention. The committee will focus on creating value propositions that resonate with young physicians and fostering a sense of community within YPS.
This committee will meet quarterly and be composed of a Chair, Chair-Elect, and At-Large Members.

The ACEP-YPS Education Committee is tasked with developing and curating educational content relevant to early-career emergency physicians. The committee will focus on innovative educational formats, emerging clinical topics, and professional development resources tailored to our population of physicians. This committee will work closely with the Communications Committee to promote educational events to YPS members.
