Recent Reforms Enacted (since 2003) The presiding justice of the State Superior Court implemented an administrative order requiring all medical liability cases in Providence County to first proceed through a mediation process. A separate order requires plaintiffs, within one year of filing suit, to disclose who their supporting experts are and to commit to a timeframe for deposition and discovery. (2005)
