We take immense pride in the dedication of emergency physicians committed to assisting those with substance use disorders, and who are actively working to mitigate addiction risk by creating pain management initiatives. Substance use has long been a challenge for both patients and physicians, and the current rise in mortality rates amplifies the urgency of addressing it.
