Samuel Lam

Dr. Samuel Lam is board certified in emergency medicine and fellowship trained in pediatric emergency medicine, emergency ultrasound, and research.  He is currently the Emergency Ultrasound Co-Director at the Children’s Hospital Colorado Section of Emergency Medicine, and Professor of Pediatrics-Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  He is an internationally recognized expert and leader in pediatric emergency ultrasound.  Dr. Lam has been a long-standing member of ACEP, and has served in various positions at the state and national level.  He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community emergency departments, academic emergency departments, and freestanding emergency departments, which gives him a broad perspective when formulating and evaluating national policies.
