Sophia Spadafore

Dr. Sophia Spadafore is a graduate of University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson and The Mount Sinai Hospital/Emhurst Hospital Center emergency medicine residency in New York City where she served as Chief Resident. She is currently serving as the inaugural Health and Public Policy Fellow at The Mount Sinai Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine, and is a policy analyst for Health and Human Services (HHS) Region 2 office, where her work focuses on reimbursement policies and healthcare delivery systems in the U.S. territories, as well as access to reproductive care. She is also the resident and fellow member on the AMA Council on Legislation, and teaches health policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
