Jamila Goldsmith

Dr. Jamila Goldsmith is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over eight years of dedicated experience in locum tenens. As the Founder and CEO of Goldsmith Medical Services LLC, Dr. Goldsmith has played a key role in enhancing emergency care in underserved and rural communities. Her commitment to supporting fellow physicians and advancing the field is also evident in her role as Chair of the ACEP Locum Tenens Section.
Dr. Goldsmith's educational journey began at Kettering University and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, followed by in-depth training at The University of Chicago, where she developed her clinical expertise and ability to manage complex medical cases.
While she now calls Georgia home, Dr. Goldsmith remains closely connected to her Michigan roots. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and sports, and values spending time with her 3-year-old son, Zaim. Dr. Goldsmith also shares her knowledge and experiences through "The Locums Lounge," a podcast dedicated to providing valuable insights into the locum tenens experience, helping fellow physicians navigate their careers with confidence.
