Andrew Matuskowitz

Dr. Matuskowitz is an award-winning educator and emergency physician. As Cardiovascular Emergencies Curriculum Director, he established the ECG Critical Skills and Cardiovascular Emergencies Curriculum at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).  

He won the Platinum Podium Award for Outstanding Contribution to Didactic Education (2018, 2021) and MUSC Physician of the Month (2017).  

Dr. Matuskowitz has developed and deployed dozens of cardiovascular emergency workflows, including chest pain, LVAD, pulmonary embolism, and atrial fibrillation management, to name a few.  

He is also currently partnering with an Israeli startup company to seamlessly integrate AI-based cardiovascular clinical decision support directly into the electronic health record across the MUSC regional health network.
