Colin McCloskey
MD
Dr. McCloskey is an associate professor of rmergency medicine and anesthesia critical care at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
He served as Chief Resident at Northwestern University Emergency Medicine Residency prior to completing a critical care fellowship at Michigan Medicine. He currently works clinically at a Level 1 trauma center’s emergency department as well as in the cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.
Dr. McCloskey serves the educational mission of University Hospitals as assistant program director of the Anesthesia Critical Care Fellowship and directs the Resuscitation Elective for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
His clinical leadership includes medical direction of University Hospitals ECMO Services. His research interests include ECMO, ECPR system development, SHOCK teams and peer coaching of high acuity, low opportunity procedures.
