Christopher Hogrefe

MD, FACEP

Dr. Hogrefe is currently a clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center, as well as an adjunct associate professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern Medicine/Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. 

When not working clinically in the Emergency Department or Sports Medicine Clinic, he serves as the head team internist for the Chicago Cubs.  

Dr. Hogrefe is honored to have participated in the ACEP Scientific Assembly as a speaker since 2016.  His academic areas of interest include the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries in the emergency department, concussions, and trauma management. He is the fortunate husband to wife Amy and proud father to Carter (15), Addyson (13), Caleb (10), and a robust collection of Air Jordans (342).
