Nathaniel Schlicher

Dr. Nathan Schlicher practice emergency medicine at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, a Level II Community Trauma Center. He serves as the Regional Director of Quality Assurance while continuing to practice clinically. As an attorney, he helps lead the Litigation Support Program at TeamHealth and serves as the clinical consultant to the Claims Review Committee. At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, he serves as the Medical Director of the Clinical Quality Data Management and Chair of the Professional Performance Committee. Dr. Schlicher has help leadership positions with multiple organizations including Past President of the Washington Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Past President of the Washington State Medical Association, Past Legislative Advisor for the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association, and Washington State Senator. He created and has served as the Editor in Chief of the Advocacy Handbook through six editions.
