Ann Dietrich

Section Editor, Clinical Pediatrics, Critical Decisions in Emergency Medicine — Dr. Dietrich is the division chief of pediatric emergency medicine at Prisma Health and a professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at the University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Greenville. She received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her residency and fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Previously, she was a professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine for more than 25 years at Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is a past chair of ACEP’s Pediatric Emergency Medicine Committee. Her area of expertise is pediatric head trauma.
