Urinary Obstruction
Matthew Kongkatong, MD
Brief description of case
A 92-year-old male with history of prostatic hyperplasia and hypothyroidism presents from home with son for several days of gradually worsening weakness and decreased ambulation. The goals of this case are to consider a wide differential for vague complaints in elderly patients and realize that acute on chronic urinary retention may be minimally symptomatic.
