We're thrilled to present the latest update from the ACEP Ultrasound Simulation Subcommittee. Our team has been currently looking to expand the array of simulation cases available on our website. Currently you can find anything from AAA rupture to intussusception. However, we believe there's always room for growth, and we invite all interested members to contribute by helping to write new cases.
Looking ahead, our goals for the upcoming year include diversifying our case library to encompass transesophageal echo and more community-based scenarios. Moreover, we're excited to announce a collaborative effort with the ACEP Resident Education Subcommittee to further expand our comprehensive guide—a "cookbook"—for creating various simulation models (submit a recipe). This resource will be continuously updated by members eager to share their expertise.
We have plenty of opportunities for those seeking involvement! If you're interested in participating or would like to explore additional opportunities, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at Zach Boivin and Javier Rosario.
We're also delighted to welcome Dr. Zach Boivin as our new Co-Chair as Dr. Anita Rohra transitions to new endeavors.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to advancing ultrasound simulation education within ACEP.
