ACEP EUS Fellowship Subcommittee Update

Hello EUS Members,

The Fellowship Subcommittee is excited to announce the first ultrasound fellows’ symposium at ACEP 2025. Interested fellows will have the opportunity to prepare a national level talk with guidance from a mentor outside their fellowship.

The goal is two-fold:

1. To create a national platform for rising stars in our field
2. To promote meaningful and diverse mentorship opportunities for fellows nationally

There will be an on-line speaker symposium in May 2025 where all interested fellows will present their talks to a panel of judges. The winning Fellow will present at ACEP 2025!

Keep your eyes open for the application (for your incoming 2024/2025 fellows) and more information about the program in early July!

We will also be looking for speaker mentors later in this year.

Additionally, our section continues to work on the Lit Canon. The Lit Canon is located on airtable and is a great resource for topic-based ultrasound research articles. This year we have upgraded our rubric with help from the Research Subcommittee. We are near completion for OB and GYN articles, and are ready to start conquering cardiology topics including RV and pericardial effusion!!
