On behalf of the ACEP President, Vidor Friedman, we would like to thank all HIT Summit attendees for your active participation at the ACEP 2019 HIT Summit! Your contributions and insight ensured a successful event.

As part of the event, we developed a white paper detailing the discussion and visions for the future of HIT in EM. Our HIT Task Force reviewed transcripts and notes from the Keynote Presentations, Break Out Sessions and Panel Discussions, and compiled them into a Vision Paper.

In the HIT Vision Paper, we detail all proceedings and include specific recommendations for short, intermediate & long-term goals.

In the coming weeks, the ACEP Board of Directors will use the document in discussion & development of ACEP’s overall HIT strategy.

We welcome your comments & suggestions to ACEP staff members Dhruv Sharma (dsharma@acep.org) or Joseph Kennedy (jkennedy@acep.org).
